This society was created for the employees of Education, Health and Land Department in 1933 at Shimla. As the society was created in the British era these three Departments were functioning as one Department. The society celebrated its Platinum Jubilee in 2009.
For the past 35 years the society registered profits and distributed dividends to its members.

It has also been giving incentive to its members for prompt payment of society dues.
The society adheres to all the norms of Registrar of Cooperative Society (RCS). Its audit is done every year on time as prescribed by RCS. Low interest rate on loan to its members.
Presently, about 539 registered members in the society.
It is a self-financing T&C Society. Self-reliant and financially independent Society.
Turnover of the Society is around Rs. 3.23 crores. Primary aim of the Society is the welfare of its members by meeting their financial needs as per the approved norms.
